Here are some of the exclusive yellow and gray wedding invitations I’ve designed for Lemon Leaf Prints. Planning ways to add hits of warm and sunny yellow to brighten everyone’s day is sure to be a lot of fun and will keep everyone cheerful as they go about helping you with your special day. The wedding cake practically bakes itself too! Couldn’t you just imagine diving into a moist and lemony fresh confection on a hot summer day? Serve up gallons of homemade lemonade at a quaint outdoor shindig or whip up a signature drink like banana daiquiris for a more upscale event.

I think it would be so fun and exciting to be planning a wedding around these two colors of yellow and grey. Whimsical is also an option if you find some cute yellow shoes for the ladies and yellow suspenders and bow ties for the men. I think they look so dapper, and of course, the bridesmaids all dressed in shades of yellow or yellow floral print dresses would be stunning on a sunny wedding day.Ī simple online search of “yellow and grey wedding colors” will show you that you can create an informal, casual look or a more distinguished, elegant look just by the suits you choose, the colors of the bridesmaid dresses (yellow, steel gray, or silver), and the flowers you select for bouquets. Personally, I love seeing groomsmen wearing grey suits. In addition to the merits of the yellow and gray colors noted above, I think they also make lovely choices for spring and summer weddings, or even fall weddings utilizing sunflowers or wheat. With these two Pantone colors in mind, I decided to redesign several of my popular wedding invitation designs to use the yellow and gray color scheme in hopes that others are planning their weddings with the same hope and strength that these colors evoke.

They paired a sunny, hopeful, cheerful color with one of enduring strength and fortitude, which I think is perfect for the weeks and months ahead until we return to some semblance of normality.

That is exactly the way I viewed those two colors, as well. They chose two colors: Illuminating (yellow) and Ultimate Gray (gray) which they say is: “ A marriage of color conveying a message of strength and hopefulness that is both enduring and uplifting.” I think that is why I liked the Pantone 2021 colors so much. I know we are not out of the woods yet, but there is hope that things will slowly be improving this year. I was relieved to see the start of 2021, with the promise of a vaccination on the horizon. It certainly didn’t help my Fibromyalgia, and if anything, made it worse from the steady and unrelenting stress. I’m sure many/most of you are also feeling the effects of pandemic fatigue, too. As I write this, it is February 16, 2021, almost a year after the Covid 19 pandemic started impacting my life.
